INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 oz. gin
  • ½ oz. Sun Orchard Lemon Juice
  • 2 oz. champagne
  • Lemon twist for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  • To make simple syrup:
    • Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over low heat.  Stir until sugar is dissolved.
    • Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
    • Refrigerate extra syrup, if not using immediately.
  • To make cocktail:
    • Place gin, lemon juice, and ½ oz. simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
    • Shake vigorously about 10 seconds. 
    • Strain into chilled flute.
    • Top with champagne and garnish.
