INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 oz. gin
- ½ oz. Sun Orchard Lemon Juice
- 2 oz. champagne
- Lemon twist for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- To make simple syrup:
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate extra syrup, if not using immediately.
- To make cocktail:
- Place gin, lemon juice, and ½ oz. simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously about 10 seconds.
- Strain into chilled flute.
- Top with champagne and garnish.
