Lemon Garlic Hummus



  • 15 ounces garbanzo beans, canned, liquid reserved
  • 4 tbsp Sun Orchard Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp salt


Place garbanzo beans, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, and salt in a food processor. Puree in bursts, scraping down the sides and adding canned liquid as necessary. Consistency should be smooth, but not liquid. Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. Serve with pita chips, vegetables, or tortilla chips.


Try adding lemon zest, red bell pepper, or jalapeños before blending to add some kick to your hummus! Can also be used as a condiment for sandwiches, pitas, and more!
